I can see early ones go for that.

But looks like there is only 3 different ones? They'll flood eBay pretty fast with it being that easy to make a set. They do look pretty good - definitely a step in the right direction after over a decade of crappy holograms. But, still waiting on the 3D "Red/Orange/Green/Yellow hues" to come back!

I think your looking at around 550 cases, give or take.

I actually wanted to come back to this.

The Metal set is only 42 cards large, not 60. Production very well could be 500 cases or under.

Edit: After looking at the numbers some more.

That means a lot of the inserts are going to have a production run of 85-100ea. The Metal Hardware cards will have less (2 per case) - I just don't have the set # in front of me to run the odds. Same

I don't know if it will translate into more sales (it can't hurt, anyway), but this product has had the most buzz from people who don't follow the comic products I've seen since Premier.

If I was still in flipping mode, I'd be tempted to hold back some wax and see if this gains more steam.

From what people are saying it's less than 10 each card... somewhere around 8 each I believe.

It's 21 card set - if it is based on a 500 case run like I think it is (the odds seem to be right around there), then the print run should be about 14-15ea.

In all seriousness I do not like this product, seems too chaotic like 8 different sets. if anything iam just bidding on all the singles in hope i get them cheap because of the product flooding.

Can't they just have a Base Set, 2 Chase Sets, Sketches(1 of 1)/Sketch Cards (5 Each Character) & Artist Autos.

I guess people enjoy it because it is like 3 products in one but i find it rather annoying.

What singles do you think are going cheap right now lol?

PMGs certainly aren't.

if you are buying the product to make money, and you think it will make money, then you "like" the product.

He's been bidding on most of the PMG's and the Jambalaya's... I don't understand it - but I guess it's good for the market.

Even though I just stated i did not like the product. If you see a diamond ring for 10$ and you know you can sell it for 100$ that doesn't mean you like diamond rings.

From my very limited perspective, Tim was 100% correct that the inserts and non-sketch cards are the winners here.

So is cedarcliffcollectibles (ebay username) using his own math or are there production #s somewhere? He has approximate #s for all inserts on his listings. Just grabbed two different holograms at $15 each ...and a few other inserts.

Cedar has-->

Hologram @ ~350
Hardware @ ~140
Ultra Stars @ ~140
Intimidation Nation @ ~140
and the other two inserts @ ~100

Upper Deck is pretty sneaky with set info hidden on their site... guess I'll look around.

That would mean production is around 700 cases... Unless he got those numbers from UD - everything I've seen so far is saying much less than that.

I opened a box today on blowout and didn't get a sketch.

Wonder if UD will make it right. Least it was recorded

If you have a reciept showing you purchased the box from an authorized Upper Deck retailer, then it should be a problem (especially since you filmed the break). Otherwise, you're beat. I don't know if BO is authorized. I'm sure somebody does.

They aren't listed on the Upper Deck site.
