The reason for the repeated sketches is that is how Breygent's approval process works. I'm not sure if it is Breygent or the licensors who do the approvals, but the artists are only allowed to draw the exact images that have been approved. There is some leeway for color variances, but the basic image has to be the same.

For example, say Artist X agrees to do 100 total cards, and submits 15 samples to Breygent. If 11 of those samples are rejected (for whatever reason), the artist only has 4 images to work with. Thus, each image will average 25 copies (in this particular case).

So you will see a LOT of repeats coming out of this product and the Marilyn Monroe one. I just wanted to offer a little clarification to take the blame off the artists.

Good luck if you decide to bust this!

Thank you for your input! That's the kind of information we need in this forum to keep it from looking like so many others that I don't care to mention.

Welcome to the board!

Depends how you look at it. She is a hollywood legend. BUT... she is still alive and they made a fair amount of them. It's all about perspective!

Hey, I posted a picture of the brando cut auto 1/2 I pulled on the presell link for this product. Can anyone let me know what it's worth?

Seems that Brando is very, very hard but I"m not into non-sports so the value eludes me. Thanks.

Someone on here commented on the low prices the sketch cards were bringing....I was surprised to see that a # of the completed auctions only included the artists name, and did not include the name of the star depicted. I would have to assume more people would be looking for a "Clint Eastwood" (and thus increase bids) as opposed to just the name of the artist.

I have never done non sports before...maybe I am wrong on this.
