Well that is very cool. I trust you when you said that you guys worked on better quality. So in combining a better group of sketches, the other incentive chase cards, and this apparent much lower production......we could have a winner!

Considering they had to commission some artists to do extra sketches to make up for rejects, I doub't we'll see very many multiple sketch boxes (besides the puzzles).

Anyway, good luck with your breaks everybody!

Pumped for this. It will be my first case ever.

Do you think it will bring good resale value? Also, how many sets/subsets per case?

Since no one has cases yet you're not going to know how many sets a case brings until one gets opened and sorted. As far as resale value, check eBay on Friday and see what's selling.

BO price went up $25 for the case. I might as well wait and bust a box or two at LCS on Friday since I would not get the case until middle of next week.

not sure I follow printing plate odds. I am guessing these are not just on 100 card base set, but also on some inserts?

Anybody know?

Printing plates include base cards, all inserts, and two levels of parallels: concept sketches and heritage design, because we felt they were interesting enough to warrant it.

As a plate collector that's great news.

...and this little bonus chase card (which is on top of the 5 per pack, and will not replace any other card in a pack)

Do you know odds yet for the pulls? Is that published somewhere or do we need to look at a pack first? Thanks

When do cases ship usually? I bought one this morning. Wondering if I'll get it by the weekend (live in Illinois).

[QUOTE=alvin;5878384]

Here are the odds from the back of the wrapper:

Gold Parallel 1:12
Heritage Parallel 1:4
Early Encounters Subset 1:8
Anatomy of a Martian Subset 1:12
Masterpieces Subset 1:6
Propaganda Subset 1:6
Propaganda "Graffitti" Parallel 1:192
Printing Plate 1:248
Munchkin Bonus Playing Card 1:111
Sketch Card 1:25
Creator Sketch Card 1:1670
Classic Creator Auto 1:417
Artist Base Card Auto 1:111
Comic Creator Auto 1:1670
WB Movie Auto 1:167
Buyback: 1:1246
Concept Parallel 1:48
"Extra Gore" 1:72
"Extra Gore" Gold Parallel 1:1113
Patch Relics 1:109
Medallion Relics 1:108
Loaded Sketch Packs (2) 1:1055
Loaded Sketch Packs (4) 1:3152

All odds are approximate, and i'm a little peeved they listed the "Extra Gore" and "Graffitti Parallels" which were intended to be unannounced short print variants... :/

Thought I would bring this to the top

I hope everybody also checks out Mantic Games' Kickstarter. They've got some exclusive cards as rewards, and it's a killer game with some awesome figures, including many directly from the new card set! It even expands on the new story and introduces some cool new characters that we couldn't squeeze into "invasion."

Nice! I ordered a box for my Mom -- who's in her 80s -- as she's been asking me about the release for months. For Mars Attacks Heritage last year, she bought packs at Target, and even lucked out and got a sketch card (not one of mine, of course, as the odds of that happening were something like 150-to-1)! But this go around, with a more limited release, I wanted to make sure she could break open some packs, so I got her an early Christmas present.
