Agreed--there's one of yours I'm keeping an eye on, just need to see how some other auctions play out first

BTW, I did one 3-card, five 4-card and one 6-card puzzle....and yours is the only one that I know has been pulled.

Nice! There was a sweet bat card too - I had an offer in but someone snatched it up.

...that was the 3rd card I did in the series...I penciled all 100 first, then kolorized them after I had finished the 100th card...I worked on Martian creatures/mutants for 50 or so cards, then moved on to the Martians...

FYI:I used dayglo/blacklite paints for the base kolors then enhanced details w/
dayglo markers and prismacolor pencils...be sure to check it out under a blacklite/ultraviolet bulb for max fx!

I opened a box yesterday and pulled a pretty pathetic sketch.
I'm not sure how Topps allowed such a card in the product honestly.

I recognized it right off but not a collector even if i know I can make money so i pass on all those. I remember seeing a buncha Acars back when she was hot going for BIN at like 50 bucks. Still passed on em. Leave that stuff for you collectors to enjoy.

YAY!! That makes me so happy!!! ♥
It's my first time posting on the board! I've been lurking around for awhile, kinda popping in once in awhile... hoping to see where some of my cards end up! And I love seeing all pretty sketchcards you guys pull. (I'm so jealous every time someone snags a Irma Ahmed card.)

Anyways! Eons ago in this Mars Attacks thread, a bunch of you guys were making monkey-themed cards. So I made this contribution! Especially for MonkeyMcGee because he said liked my Women of Zorro cards. So this card is dedicated to you!

Yeah, I was able to figure out the artist from his signature.
Really disappointed in the sketch, especially looking at all the great ones here and looking at some of his other work.

thanx again!...
FYI: I treated the whole Mars Attacks Invasion project as if I was the collector pulling the card, and would I be "amped-up" to get it...depending on amount of elements in image (ie:martian, weapon, other figures, complexities of creature(s), background details...)I spent somewhere between 10-30 minutes for pencil stage and another 30-45 min for kolorization process...at that rate it's hard to qualify it a "sketch" but, I wanted the work to have decent illustrative textures and more importantly, visual impact...
