Just a little bonus to say thank you to those who pledged towards the Kickstarter, we'll be inserting 100 sketch cards into a random selection of games going out to backers.

Thanks, FFF. It was just something I wanted to do for fans who pledged on KS as a way to introduce them to the hobby, and as a thank you for donating their money. Over the course of the month+ that it was live, the fans and I and the boys at Mantic formed a friendly community on their page-- complete with our own inside jokes and sharing of personal anecdotes. It was quite fun!

I volunteered to draw all 100 myself, but eventually a bunch of Topps' regular sketch artists volunteered to chip in! So much so that i'm down to drawing just a handful!

Thanks! Total right time, right place situation. Still need to add one of your awesome cards to my collection though.

And for the price speculators, one did sell on ebay back in November for $299.99 and I've received multiple offers from multiple people higher than that for this one. So could be big fans of his or people trying to finish artist sets, but there is demand there.

Awesome bonus with the kicked in Kickstarter sketches. Always fun to do something and get a cool unexpected bonus after the fact.

Default Mara AttacksInvasion- Autographed base set

#16,17,18- art and autographed by Staples appear to be non-existent. None have shown up on Ebay. Anyone have any idea about those?

Yes. Though it was originally intended to be a full parallel set, we couldn't get Staples his autos in time when the production schedules got switched around.

I had hoped to release them as part of a promotion, but I think that ship may have sailed.

How do you guys feel about the Heritage sketch blanks that have been selling on eBay of late? I counted at least 45 sold. On one hand it's cool that the collector can potentially get a sketch from an artist that they missed out on - on the other hand it has a questionable effect on sketch value.

It appears to be Johnathan D Gordon selling the cards, unless ladylindsay83 scored every card he ever painted in the history of ever.

Who knows really. I'd think the guys at the companies are to busy to try and chase these guys down.

I just try to do the right thing and be a decent human.

What a maroon. On more than one occasion I've received more blanks than I was supposed to for sets (sometimes numbering in the 100s), and I've always sent the extras back.

Yeah, I even send back the mess up cards. (folded in half to avoid confusion)
I did stumble across a blank Kree Skrull War sketch card that isn't an AP in my AP stack though. I still have it, I just need to remember to send it back one of these days.

Some people make it hard for everyone.

Same here. On a recent Star Wars set I was sent 2 shipments of blanks. I immediately let David know and returned them. The only way to go.

Thanks, and glad to help I can see a few AP blanks that were never completed being sold - This just seems like a lot.

We don't like ANY blanks being sold, to be honest, but we know it's going to happen here and there.

We already know what happened here, but i'm not going to comment until the situation is resolved.
