Will probably be made, I think, but missed the boat on its 30th anniversary, Return Of The Jedi 3di set. C'mon Topps!

There was a similar thread previously made about this if you wanna check out the posts in there.

Name the one show you wish/deserves to have its own card set

I still go with some of my answers from that thread

Crypto releasing Harry Potter sets
Back to the Future
Old school Nickelodeon cartoon mashup
Classic and Current Popular Disney/Pixar movies

I could see some scratch and sniff cards being implemented for that.

Well there were plenty of cards for Harry Potter but one i wish they would have made but their license ran out was a costume/prop edition for Deathly Hallows Part 2. I heard they were ready to be made but production had to cease.

The licensing agency that represents Food Network will be at the Licensing Expo coming up in a few weeks here in Vegas... I'll ask them about it while we're there and see what they say.

We'd have to figure out a way to get all the chef autos... but it'd be worth it just to get Alton Brown.

Moreso I'd like to see Crypto release a revamped Harry Potter set..something like 1 set per movie. Or one set per every 2 movies like the previous Big Bang Theory releases. Great autographs, great wardrobes, amazing sketches..I'd LOVE a set like that from Crypto.

But due to the licensing and all the actors done with the movies now, there's really no chance

I've seen some of the previous Harry potter boxes, but it seems like none are really worth picking up. Aside from just a few cards, seems like none of it really held value and of course now with expired redemptions, I've passed on buying anything.

If only a revamp could be done :/

Edit: lol- Hannahs and I are on the same page. That post wasn't there when I went to type this!

Puzzles me how BBC doesn't do this. Imagine the relic cards!

I'd like to see a company like Famous Fabrics come out with a cut auto set, like their Horrors of War, for famous lawmen and criminals. Call it something like "Law and Disorder". One subset could be dual cut autos of real life people, and actors who played them on tv and movies! How great would an Elliot Ness/Kevin Costner dual cut be!

What about Cards that were never made.. I see a TON of unsigned inkworks cards from their going out of business sale including

Alias
Lina Olin
Angela Basset
Terentino (sp)

Sopranos
Robert Loggia
Drea De Matteo
Edie Falco
James Gandolfini
Loraine Bracco
Many More

Maybe if they had gotten these cards signed they wouldn't have went out of business in the middle of the night..

Someone really needs to do a set on some of these great Canadian TV shows currently on

Orphan Black
Continuum
Lost Girl

I would be all over sets on all three of those shows. These shouldn't be too expensive as most of the actors aren't well known with the exception of Rachel Nichols on Continuum (and she really is only kind of known from Alias and GI Joe).

The Wire. Such great characters, such a large cast, it would be so much fun getting autos from everyone. Other than the Parks & Rec set that's coming out, this is the only other tv show I'd have any interest in purchasing.

And if any company is looking for an easy score, there's always money in the banana stand.

I'd love a relic card with a piece of Franklin in it.

Doctor Who - I have always heard that the BBC is a nightmare to work with which is why new sets are few and far between.

Bones - Still can't believe they haven't made a set for this yet.

btw...Tatiana Maslany (she plays the main characters on Orphan Black) won the Critic's Choice Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series tonight. If you haven't seen the show I highly recommend it. Hopefully this bodes well for an Emmy nomination.

She beat out Clare Danes (Homeland), Elizabeth Moss (Mad Men), Keri Russell (The Americans) among others.

Default Masters of the Universe

It would be awesome if a company could to a Masters of the Universe / HeMan set of trading cards from the original tv show. The action figures are still awesome in both vintage and reissue, plus seeing a modern card twist on the vintage tv show would be interesting i think. Especially with redemptions for original cels, nib playsets or figures, and current artist sketch cards!

Both topps and panini did this series in 1984/1983 but a modern set would be sweet!!!!
