Default Willed loads of non-sports, not sure what to do

My step-father left me his enitire collection of cards and there are more than I can handle. There are literally thousands upon thousands and I'm not sure what is good and what I can just get rid of.
If someone could just help me get on track, tell me what is good and what is not, that would be really great. Plus, if you're looking for something, I may find it here...somewhere.
Thanks,
Petuns

P,

First step if you are looking to get on track would be to step on down to your local Borders/Barnes and Noble and pick up a Non-sport Update guide to point you in the right direction.
Non-Sport Update Magazine

Once you've established years or sets from the collection and have an idea of what's in there then checking similar selling prices on Ebay or on these boards is a good start.

Good idea. The prices in NSU are way off of what they actually sell for. Just like Beckett prices. There are a few of us on here who collect non-sport.

PM sent.

You could also pick up from NSU the encyclopedia guide to help you figure out what is what. It only goes up to 2006, but lists way more stuff than the monthly NSU guide does. It's about $35.00, but think it would be a good investment.

The prices are off (a little high) if your looking to sell on Feebay. The prices listed are more realistic with what you would see at a Card Store or the larger dealers at some of the big shows.
