$40.00 more a box than all of the other sellers I have seen.

How about $1,544.95 a case? If this is how this is going to go, it's going to be the singles route for me.

with 1 less hit a box, 12 less a case, what a joke, what a way to kill a product quicker than a walker, shame, shame, shame.

If they cut Walker relics and maybe brought in prop relics instead I'd be okay with them cutting one hit from the box. Plus, I remember people, myself included, getting 3-5 relics per box and sometimes 2-4 autographs per box as well. I've never had an issue with what you get out of a Cryptozoic box, I just hate how high prices are out of the gate on Walking Dead.

Bummer with the pricing. I guess I'm out for this one already.

Blowout is the only one I've seen with a high price..other places I've seen are either retail at $84 a box, or slightly under that

Blowout had Comic Series 2 presales at over $100 too.. If everywhere else has the boxes for much cheaper they will come down

Not to keep bumping this thread with just price updates, but I did notice that Blowout dropped the price of this to $100 a box, or $1,175 a case. At just below $1,200 a case, that seems incredibly reasonable, we just need to see a better list of signers and start seeing some mock-ups if possible.

Another has them for $87 a box, but not offering cases as of yet. So, I am still sitting tight....BO goes down another $100 on the case, I'm in for a few

Actually they did have cases up for a day or two, which is probably why BO had to lower their price. Not sure they will be listing cases again, but as an fyi, they have now raised their limit from 8 boxes to 12 boxes, so I'm pretty sure you can call them to make sure they will send you a sealed case if you order 12 boxes.

According to NSU, there will be auto wardrobes in this set. Interesting, and something new.

Thanks for that info, Aggie. Very much appreciated

I'm still waiting on my supplier to take orders as I know they will be much cheaper than all of the prices we have seen.

Yeah, gotta agree with you there. This new price is relatively close to MSRP. However; I am not gonna pay that kind of money for the same inserts as series 2. I like the idea of the 2 part release but if that means they are going to release Danai Gurira auto in one part and David Morrissey in the other then I will go secondary market for this year and avoid this trap.

I will wait for a more complete picture from Cryptozoic before I decide.

I just saw another major card retailer had cases up for $1,045. That's pretty darn good I'd say.

They mentioned having shell casings, but they're unsure about how to utilize them.

Where do you see $70 a box? That is by far the lowest I've seen it anywhere.

It was on a comic store website. As of now though they've taken down preorders. If they somehow go back up, I'll post the link in here.

dont be surprised if them 70 dollar orders are all canceled just before the product go's live. if you try ordering a full case through them you will be lucky if you get 2 boxes. i tried ordering a full case of series one when it first came out and i got one box . they dont get enough product to satisy everyones orders. i tried again with series 2 and same thing happened .

I got screwed on my pre-order last year and never got the product. Actually kept the order (and my hopes) alive for over a year before I gave up and asked for my deposit back the other day. I'm not even gonna bother being let down with the next product, no more Walking Dead boxes for me, it's not worth the aggravation.

Can't agree with this sentiment. Last year I opened six boxes for a reasonable price (under $100) and then just bought the singles I needed for my autograph set off eBay. I still came in well below $1,000. I feel like this has turned into more of a chore than a fun hobby. That's not good. I think with a lot of repeat signers prices for the individual autographs could be at, or lower than, the prices they were in the last year.

Ted, a lot of people went through the same thing last year.

Here's my once a year warning. For those buying from similar sites as Cass just did, be careful!!! You all know the saying: If it's too good to be true, generally it is.
