Default Zerostreet's Art Thread

Hi All! I'm new to this forum and to working on trading cards. I was asked by Topps to do some sketch cards for the upcoming MARS ATTACKS: INVASION. Some of which are over at the thread for that series. This is my first work in official cards, I hope to do more.

I work as an animator/designer for broadcast during the day and paint and sculpt at night. I vend at some South Florida shows, including Supercon, but most of my work is sold through my website and art gallery's. Most of my painted work is in the Pulp and Tiki themes although I cover a wide range of genres and styles.

You can check out more of my work over at my websites:

The Art Of Robert Jimenez and

Tiki Tower: The Art Of Robert Jimenez

My online store is here http://tikitower.storenvy.com/

For the latest in what's going on though, it's best check out my facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/TikiTower

Here's some of my recent card work along with some illustrations and paintings.

These are some of the illustrations I did at Supercon. They are prismacolor pencil on black art paper.

And here are some painted LP covers I've done:

Finally a few of my paintings...Doc Savage, The Shadow and Tarzan.

Thanks for looking!
Robert

Thanks Qwasian!

I was asked to contribute a sketch card to Jeepers, a collective of artists each interpreting one of the Scooby-Doo villains. Below are my sketches. I'll be painting Creeper (the sketch on the left) for the set. Jeepers has a facebook page if anyone want's to follow along:

Glad you could join the "JEEPERS!" gang, Zerostreet! Can't wait to see your final piece. We have about 20 confirmed artists and once we get enough final pieces, we hope to collect them as an uncut sheet of cards. Should look nice hanging on our walls!

Here are a few of the finals!

Those look great. Scooby Doo had the best villains. I'm gonna have to check this one out.

Thanks! The project started as a love for all things Scooby. Honestly, the main characters never impressed me. It was the VILLAINS who really made the show.

That image of the Ghost of Captain Cutler alone would be enough to get me to buy these. That one, and the 10,000 Volt Ghost are two of my favorites.

The villains from the first few seasons are CLASSIC. Captain Cutler was great, but the Spooky Space Kook and his laugh were my fav. We have someone doing the 10,000 Volt Ghost too!

Did this last night:

These aren't going into the set as they're two I completed just for fun. You'll see someone else's interpretations of the characters.
