I'm not sure I understand the post. Are you asking if you have pulled 'the best pulls' from your case and would make more selling the sealed boxes than selling the loot inside?

that's exactly what I took out of the question- what are the odds of him pulling a pmg green at this point? otherwise it might be better to sell the boxes which he can get major coin for sealed.

Which is why, as a collector, I'm always weary about buying sealed boxes on eBay. Once the case hit is liberated, sell the rest of the boxes sealed. Its pack searching on a grander scale.

What are the odds of getting two big hits in a case of anything? Is it that uncommon?

Agreed that it is a slimy practice although it would be great to see them sold off and the buyer pull a Nar sketch and a green PMG.

So much this!

It does indeed suck that people do this. Even some reputable dealers. People will shell out $80 to $200? a box, but the odds of actually getting a hit are slim to none, which is ridiculous. Those people buying the cases and doing this are just letting some poor sap throw his/her money away while they themselves profit.

Depends on the product. I haven't been keeping up with reto specifically, but many products offer cards that that have 'case odds'. Let's take Avengers Assemble for example. I hear that product was successful largely due to the autos and their being 2/case. Say you were lucky enough to liberate both in the first 5 boxes you opened. Now you've got 7 boxes with extremely low odds for containing an auto, but that is a secret only you know and you could easily still sell them at current market value. You bust a case of WDs1 and hit a badge redemption in the first box. Nobody has to know and you can still make a killing selling the hope of a badge redemption in those other boxes. Even for 1/box sketches, we know the big hits are usually spread pretty evenly throughout the case run.

All I'm saying is that I stay away from buying single boxes of most products on eBay because I think there are a lot of shady dealers out there.

I've seen cases busted that contained a green pmg and a jambalaya.
