Default 2010 Razor Ink Vault

Just saw they were releasing this. I though I remembered last years saying it was our last chance to get the autos and boxes etc but its back. Do any of us really think the non sports and or Inkworks market can handle another of these? Prices started really coming down towards the end when everyone was ripping the Vault. I dont know, but seems this one could be stale.

personally, I'm staying far away from this. Too many chances of getting 9th cast member from some TV show nobody watched...

I've already built a dollhouse for my niece out of all my extra Marcy from Married with Children autos.

I liked both of the previous Razor Ink products, and will open at least a few boxes of this. I had a lot of fun opening these, and you don't lose a lot of money like on a lot of Upper Deck breaks.

Now for those breaking a case to try to make money, it's probably not a good buy. A really amazing case break may only make you a $200 profit. On the flip side, I can't imagine how bad a break it would have to be for you to lose more than $200. You're paying $15-20 for the unopened box, and like $7-8 for each of the 4 autographs. Sure, there are a lot of $3-5 autos, but there are plenty of $15-20 ones, and you're probably going to get a couple that sell for $50-100.

If you're a sci fi geek like me, there are plenty of autographs to like. If you don't watch Smallville, Alias, Charmed, Buffy, etc., you won't care about you who pull or want to keep any of them, so why would you buy this product?

I e-mailed Angela over at Razor ink. She e-mailed me back saying that there will be a 2010 Ink Vault.

Supposedly you will receive 1 Inkworks box and 4 autographs. So looks like they are unloading the last of the Inkworks auto's in this Ink Vault release.

You can see the sell sheet here:

She also said that a new Pop Century set will be released as well. You can check out a few threads with pics of Pop Century through these two links.

Well, regarding this, rambel is already testing the waters for a case break:

I saw this product and thought it was cool at first but in the end I wouldn't buy a box of it. It's too much of a gamble, the last thing I need is some crappy autos of z-list celebrities that wouldn't even sell for $5.

I really want to try my luck with a few boxes. I REALLY want that Gillian's card, David Carradine, Josh from Lost but I wonder what TWILIGHT stuff they might have. I'm biting the bullet and getting two boxes. I will brake them and post results later.

I did 2 cases of the 2009 version--had a lot of fun and did really well. I've got a case of this coming as well. While the market has seen a lot more of these autos come in, the extra auto per box should help even that out. We'll see how it goes!

I decided to grab 6 boxes instead of 2. Can't wait to brake them.
