Gonna have to go with the Erik Maell sketch of Darth Maul from Star Wars: Galactic Files Series 2...

That is a very nice sketch. There's a Maell Women of Legend return on ebay right now that I covet but can't afford.

It's been on my watch list for a couple days, too. Think I'm just going to stick with the Women of Marvel I've got coming and hope for the best. I have a couple Poison Ivy sketches in my PC but I don't think I'll be shelling out what that will probably end up going for. I know his SW stuff usually ends up in the $300+ range.

I usually start this thread, but I passed on August because I didn't really have any great pick-ups. I spent all my money on Cherry 2 (be happy if I see it by Christmas) and GPK Chrome OS1. I guess my 8a Adam Bomb Prism Refractor qualifies as my favorite pull.

The choice is between Breaking Bad and Black Widow for great close face. The BB sketch is near perfect. It just the right side. I'm not sure if all the black/gray is background or background + black paper mountain.

The Captain America is interesting for a full body action pose, but it miss something when you look closely (chest/torso).

I agree the right side is a little weird, but if you look at the image he must have used for the reference it's clear it's a stack of cash.

The Cap is a similar situation:

Ok a stack of cash. I believe he needed to use more green and not gray like the background.

justice41 let be clear. Your sketch is nice. It is difficult to draw a full body in a trading card and it is rare find artist trying it. Now I was looking your eBay account. I saw other of your Captain America sketches. The others are better. Maybe you are right. Your reference wasn't so good.

That Walter White by Randy Siplon is amazing.

Congrats to Erik Maell for reaping the rewards of dueling snipers... From $175 to $450 in 13 seconds.

The two Breaking Bad sketch cards are by Jim Kyle. Amazing work, and hopefully I'll have my Game of Thrones commissions from him soon. I was also really excited to pick up the sketch autograph of the skip.
