A big screw you to Jusko, for "cancelling" his appearance at the Marlborough, MA Comicon this past Friday. (8) of us paid $30.00 and drove hours to see him.

Also a big screw you to the Comicon event for not taking him off the website, and continuing to advertise as a featured guest - refusing to offer partial refunds.

That really does suck. I buy my tickets on my CC so if those does happen and they refuse to compensate some how, it's calling my CC to reverse charges. I understand things happen but at least refunded you something

Seems a little harsh on the Jusko front. Was there a reason for cancelling given? (you have it in quotes so.. didn't know if you had more info)

The original (92, I think) was also all Jusko art, I think...

Sorry for the inconvenience. Work does take precedent over cons and these things do happen with shows that are booked months in advance. I informed them in plenty of time to take me off the site (days before I posted on Facebook), but apparently they did not.

I sure hope there is a Galactus or Taskmaster card in this set.

Fox still owns the rights to Galactus along with a bunch of the other Fantastic Four characters so it is unlikely that he will appear in the set sadly. It has gotten so bad between Marvel and Fox that FF sketch cards vanished a few years ago and even the FF comic has stopped being published.

The man handles criticism just about as well as he paints.
Thanks for checking in, Joe. Looking forward to the new set!

You're a class-act, Joe! Looking forward to the new set. I once, a long, long time ago, had a poster you made of Peter Parker changing into Spider-man, gloves (or perhaps mask?) sticking out of his back pocket. It was quite amazing, and I regret to this day selling it because I haven't seen one since.

Speaking of the wall-crawler...

Yep, and Sony (who owns the film rights to Spider-man) saw which way the wind was blowing and WISELY decided to share with Marvel Studios. So we get Spider-man in Civil War, and everybody's happy.

Fox really needs to take good look at that deal, in my opinion.

Galactus was pulled from the set along with the FF. There is a Taskmaster/Deadpool card.

That was a fun piece! I actually used a sweat sock as a model for the folds in the mask. :-)

Can you comment on whether any of the original artwork (or even prelims) are available for sale? Or will be available for sale in the future? Either direct or through an agent...

Yeah, Joe, you da man!

But at least FOX has the rights to the Fantastic Four, that last Fantastic Four movie was just amazing! Hands down the best super hero movie ever. Movies like '78 Superman, '89 Batman, Captain America: Winter Soldier can't compare against the pure awesomeness of 2015's Fantastic Four!!! FANTASTIC 4 LIFE!!!

Not to mention the marketing genius who enticed us all to go see "Fant4stic".
