Default Game of Thrones "Blue" autos...

They just posted the auto checklist and "Blue" has been added to the styles. Will be interesting to see.

Peter Dinklage as Tyrion (Blue) Extremely Limited
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Jaime Lannister (Blue) Extremely Limited
Kristofer Hivju as Tormund Giantsbane (Blue) Limited
Iwan Rheon as Ramsay Snow (Blue) Limited
Ellie Kendrick as Meera Reed (Blue) Limited
Thomas Brodie Sangster as Jojen Reed (Blue) Limited
Hannah Murray as Gilly (Blue) Limited
Noah Taylor as Locke (Blue)
Anton Lesser as Qyburn (Blue)
John Stahl as Rickard Karstark (Blue)

Best to All,
VinnyH

I hope all those new signers have a bordered or full bleed for next set! A third style will be too expensive for me.

As time goes on and RA does new series they should be balancing out the styles. I think the introduction of Blue let's them go beyond the first two styles with repeat signers.

I'd like to see the new style,
VinnyH

I wonder how that will work with the Archive Box. Will all versions of autos be included? Either way, I really want to get a Tormund Giantsbane blue auto now =)

Just took a look at the checklist as well. A little surprised about some things.

I was CERTAIN Melissandre would be at least, Very Limited.
Walder Frey I expected to be at least Limited.
Varys and Littlefinger are Limited? Don't we have enough of them? Why waste a Limited spot on characters everyone has already.
Xaro Xhoan Daxos and the Spice King? Why? Nobody really wanted them in the second series.
2 Mountains, and both Limited? Seems a bit excessive.
Talisa Maegyr is very disappointing as an Extremely Limited, as she's a totally made up character. I'd hate to pull that.
Poor Stannis got a major demotion in this set as a common

There's a lot I agree with though as well

Roose, Tormund, and Ramsay are, and should be, Limiteds
Rickard, Qyburn, and Edmure are all nice additions I'd like to have, although I guess we'll have to wait until the next set for a Blackfish.

Just my initial impressions with the rarity of various autos. Looks like it will be a great set. (Aside from the repeats of a number of S2 garbage autos)

I'd buy a case if I was guaranteed a sketch, but with only a 50% shot at a sketch vs a relic of very questionable value, I don't think I can afford the gamble. I just blew $1300 on a cruise this past week ($500 of it in the casino =P) and I just don't think my bank account can take the strain. Hopefully the Randoms are good to me!

The run of autos listed in the checklist will be in the Archive box

Glad to see them
Have 1 case coming, sold my full bleed auto set. If I pull a Dinklage Blue I may start a Blue set for the fun of it.

They posted a sample card from the blue style on their Facebook page early last month. But it was actually one for Carice Van Houten, who does not have a blue card on the checklist. Maybe they're holding it for next season.

I definitely agree with the Melissandre comment. She should have been an EL in place of Oona Chaplin. I like the introduction of the four EL's, however, I would have liked to have seen more VL's (there's only 1). There are a healthy amount of limited's though.

Although the sketch's are every other case, they have an very strong artist list (and that list is relatively short compared to other releases). They have 23 artist listed. And among those 23 are Glebe brothers, DeBois, Hall, Pence, Martineck, Shay, and Streb. So there's a decent chance at hitting one of those.

The relics are going to be challening in terms of their value. Again, they would need to have some decent variations to the 2 that are listed.

Just saw it. I think I saw it earlier and thought of it as a bordered version.

The new blue style auto's are very sharp, I will likely collect them along with the original boarded style.

Rittenhouse has done an excellent job getting all these signers considering the size of the cast.

Rittenhouse just recently announced GOLD parallels for the relationship cards. If you were looking for a little extra value to tip the scales, there ya go

thank God I didn't order this........

ONLY 4 EL signatures?

Hell , even Star Trek gave us 5

Peter Dinklage as Tyrion (Blue) Extremely Limited - can get him as an incentive card
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Jaime Lannister (Blue) Extremely Limited - can get him as an incentive card
Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister (Bordered) Extremely Limited - can get her as an incentive card
Oona Chaplin as Talisa Maegyr (Full Bleed) Extremely Limited - WHO? I don't watch the show.

I'll buy a set cheap...... commons will be about $2-3
Limited will sell a little better.
maybe 5-10

glad I didn't order

Maybe being Charlie Chaplin's granddaughter gives it a bump in prestige and value...

I believe it has more value than you think. While it's true there are only 4 EL's.....that's 4 more than any previous GOT release.

Some autos may bottom out at $5......but there is a strong enough cast to make it worth it.

I didn't buy an archive box for previous seasons--putting together my own master set--but with an exclusive relic, a sketch card, and EL autos, I went for one this year.

Where did you get your archive box from? Did you get a decent price on it?

i look at it as what can I expect to recoup from the boxes.

I still have crap tons of common garbage from the last set.

I take the ones I want & sell the rest.....

cheaper to just buy the ones I want.

From a dealer I'd used in the past. Met him at a con. I think I got a good price, paid more than probably what season 1-2 archives went for, but it's a better box this time I think.

Same here Sapphire. If the odds worked out perfectly, we would get 3 sketches. The hope would be to at least get one top tier artist out of those 3. Although I think the top tier artists made less sketches than the rest.
