Looks like a Chinese boat/shoe shaped SYCEE.

I would do an internet keyword search on "Sycee" and "Chinese", "Tael" and see if any gold ones look like that one and have similar lettering.
I am not a coin expert but I have heard that there are a lot of 'reproductions' and replicas of this type of thing so even if it looks like an authentic coin/sycee of real value, it may not be what you think. Once you get a basic sense of the form/style, a coin expert can probably help you quickly identify whether it is worth anything or not.

Glad to help. FYI, I think most vintage SYCEEs were silver/copper and looking at the photo, I am guessing it is a modern commemorative piece that is PROBABLY not solid/real gold (how heavy is it?). You should check it out with a Asian coin expert and/or jewelry/metals expert regardless. Good luck.

Its probably a reproduction or something that was used for celebrations. On the side it says "Rain gold 10,000" so I assume it is probably used as a decorative piece in Chinese New Year to bring good luck, hence the labeling on the side.
