Default Empire STrikes Back

So I am very intrigued by the potential for this set when it releases. At $64 is it a good price point to make some change back? I would probably keep the base set and sell any sketches, autos, etc.

It looks like a really nice base set to begin with. Each box will have 1 sketch and the autos will be a tough pull.

I think buying a box or two can't hurt but you may not make your money back unless you get lucky with a nice sketch or really lucky with an auto. The sets will be somewhat easy to get from the big case breakers so I don't see them costing more than 60% of the box cost. (If collation becomes an issue, then who knows)

IMHO,
Vinny

Sketches at one per box, autos are 'very rare'. And there are no other chases. Looks like this will be a tough set to make money on if you don't get a case (or more).

Probably won't be the best set to rip and flip, but looks to be an awesome keeper set!

We shall see how it pans out on Wednesday. I still think it should be fairly good since I know that I will be able to sell base sets at card shows for a decent price.
