Default POLK HIGH Custom Signature Booklet

Truth be told I am a Married with Children fanatic. While I have made a couple cast booklets I have always wanted to create an Al Bundy custom exclusive to his Polk High playing days. In fact it was inspired by Leaf's acrylic autograph card that featured O'Neill as "AL" in his Polk High jacket.

I really wanted to build it in a booklet style so he needed a counter part. Who better than the late great Mr. Charles "Bubba" Smith from the MWC series episode "All-Nite Security Dude". I found a few canceled checks of his and got to work. Normally I would just hack an Ed O'Neill sticker card and be done with it. This time though I decided to remove the sticker and place it on faux styled check I designed to better match Bubba Smith's. The process was tricky since you have a sticky security seal on one side, and removable ink on the other.

This exact booklet will be heading off to the "Windy City" at the Chicago National this year to be showcased by a friend. I will be building one of my own, as well as a few more Polk High related customs as soon as I finish up some promised customs. Thanks so much for the look. -Steve

4 touchdowns in one game. Four. The man is a legend and a God.

Nice. I got Ed O'neils auto when I was about 14 at a hotel in Fort Lauderdale. He signed one of the hotel postcards for me.

Thanks everyone! The wild thing about the show is either you hated it or you loved it. It's great to see a few fans here.

That a nice booklet. You should make a booklet of the episode when AL goes against the other high school(forgot the name of the HS) with the ringers (ex nfl players).

Seeing old reruns, I cannot believe my mother allowed me to watch that show when I was a child. Still an all-time favorite sitcom.

That would be awesome! There are huge possibilities with that.

Aside from Bubba Smith, I don't know that any other actors from those movies have auto cards. Steve Guttenberg might've been in a Pop Century set, that's the only one that comes to mind.

That would be the "Dud Bowl" episode. A quad with O'Neill, Smith, Stabler, and Taylor would be awesome. I'll have to add it to my to do list which is piling up.

Great ideas everyone!

Somebody, like HBO or Netflix, needs to bring this back. It wouldn't fly on network, too non PC. SoA is over. Katey is free now, right?! Do it!

This is awesome!
One of my favorite shows of all time. I've practically worn out my Polk High 33 shirt. If you need more Bubba Smith autos, let me know. I sent a photo to him years ago and he signed it, but he also sent me a couple of other photos signed by him. He was in 80's workout wear and it was stills from his workout video, really weird to say the least. Those would make for good cuts though.

There was another episode where Al was shooting a commercial with a bunch of sports stars, not just football. I forget who it was, but I think Steve Carlton might've been in there.

You should make a "torch song duet" booklet with al bundy, Roy jones jr, Bo Jackson and "Bruce Jenner" signed as Caitlyn Jenner instead of Marcy

Thanks again.

I plan to work on a cast set of autograph cut cards which may include some star athletes and guests from the show.

Here's the photo. It looks to be real, the autos are live pen signatures, but I'll probably get it certified one day.
