Default Harry Potter questions?

Hey all. I'm considering buying some Harry Potter boxes to get my wife into collecting (good idea?). I'm wondering to those who've broken boxes of Harry Potter cards...

1) Whats a good set to start with?
Should I go the Harry Potter and The Order/Phoenix Update Box, or the Artbox? Is there a previous series? (Goblet of Fire for example)

2) Do you know if there are stated odds for autos/memorbilia cards?

Thanks!

Hello, I think I can help with Q#2. For a 10 box case there is usually 5 autos and the costumes are distributed throughout the rest of the boxes with about 2-3 props per case as well. Mixed in are the film cell cards. There is usually 2 hits per box and they are pretty good at maintaining this ratio compared to sportcards(24 pack boxes). For Q#1, I only bought OOTPU myself but I do know that there are certain case patterns that have tells for what you can expect. Example: there is another forum I went to prior to getting my boxes and as I was reading the breaks I noticed that I was getting the exact same cards as the poster on the boards hit for hit so I pretty much knew what I was getting once I started opening my boxes because I got them all from the same source(probably same case). So be careful where you get your boxes. Make sure you buy from a reputable dealer or you may be getting a raw deal. Good luck with whatever you choose.
