Default First Buzz: 2016 Topps Star Wars: The Force Awakens Chrome

Dodsons actually a pretty cool guy, wouldn't mind getting this to go along with my salacious crumb he signed for me.

Looks like they actually moved the date up by 2 days.
It was listed as Friday August 19th but on Topps SW Facebook it now says Wednesday August 17th.
This is good for me because I should now get it the same week of release.
When it's a Friday release, I almost always get it the following week.

I gotta get a Yayan Ruhian. The Raid Redemption and Raid 2 are two of the greatest action movies ever!

I met him at Indonesia comic con last year and got a photo with him. Didn't even think to ask for an autograph

As a new signer for Star Wars I'd imagine it'll be a little more. Dodson was the voice of Salacious Crumb in Jedi, and a whole bunch of Gremlins.

Well, I think adding Daisy as a signer qualifies as a new signer. Chrome certainly went up a few clicks even with the 1 hit for a box.. Like Topps almost had this planned form this release knowing peoples thoughts on one hit. I am curious how much just was pre ordered now.

Curious what the production will be on this. Orders were placed so long ago with the dumpster fire that was Chrome J vs S still kinda fresh on everyone's mind plus the 1 hit per box factor that may have r silted in low initial orders. I usually order the same qty for each Star Wars release and I wrestled with this one until the day orders were due and after saying I wasn't going to order I ended up doing a single case at the last minute. The real question just became weather to break or sell sealed.

Great news. Many of my customers will be happy. Gotta wonder how long topps was sitting on this announcement. I can't imagine they just got the cards back yesterday. Prob just waiting for the National I guess. Cool addition either way...

I think was convention, maybe a bit of bite me to leaf and Panini. It had to be after pre orders of chrome and guess decided now was best to make the 1 hit a box seem not so bad.

As you can still get it easily right now, curious what if anything will do to case prices. Just nice to see good news till topps does something else to ruin this.

The real question is what does a Daisy Superfractor sell for?

Highest selling Star Wars card ever? Has to be.

I don't think so. The 30th Star Wars Harrison fords peaked at almost 10k when that set first came out, doubt it gets that high. I guess you never know but I'm guessing $5k-6500

Yea, I forgot how crazy those 30th Fords got there..Overtime Daisy's auto will surely drop, and probably command Ford prices, but out the gate, I think that Super approach 10K. Should be fun to see.

Is it safe to assume if there are only a handful (10 or so) that they would a few thousand a piece?

I believe she will sign more than Ford, but she probably won't have a base auto.
If this is the case then she should have around 45 total autos.

all I know is I am selling my cases sealed.. I see this as now people buying mostly just get this auto. so will see a lot of the cards hitting ebay soon as breakers and other plowing through for search of her auto. and we know how these guys price stuff as they are just very against making money for some reason.

Is it possible Daisy Ridley's autos in TFA Chrome are from Leaf. Leaf made an announcement that Ridley signed a exclusive deal with them back at the industry summit. It could be another Damian Lillard situation.

She doesn't have an exclusive with them. She has signed for panini as well.

Also, I believe that chrome card is on card. I seriously cannot see any indication it's a sticker. There are lines all over the card from the chrome design but I don't see the outline of a sticker

No way, maybe its just a timed exclusive. Facebook ,they say its her autograph debut and will reveal rest list on tueday. Like Bryan said, she signed with Panini too. I am curious what the entire list will be like.

I'm aware she signed with Panini. I actually have her Fans of the game auto. I guess I just misinterpreted leaf announcement from a few months ago. No worries.

Plus, now that I look at the Topps Ridley auto again. You maybe right about on card.

Good addition to the product. Still think this will be a bloodbath and if prices go up on this announcement, it'll be even worse. Good on Topps to get her though, can't be mad at that!

Finally getting some answers from Topps. Sounds like Daisy will not have a base auto, and she will have signed the full 45 parallels. They also said she will be on-card for Chrome and MW! Finally, confirmation that she is indeed the mystery redemption!
