I don't understand how this happened though. The redemptions were live, Topps stated they were in-house

Yeah, didn't people get their autos for this set already too? Makes no sense.

Who knows, maybe they put him in as the bonus for someone's Felicity redemption hahaha

Default 2016 Star Wars Masterwork

Someone pulled the Ford 1/1 auto medallion at a card shop near me. I never buy there because they're overpriced, but sucks to see it so close to me haha

Also that auto quality is so poor it's sad. You'd think he'd know how to sign stickers by now or that TOPPS would've put a better one on this.

Default 2016 Star Wars Masterwork

Ugh. Stickers for Masterworks was the worst mistake they made, defeats the whole product.

So many things went wrong with this product that they should've just pulled it. Nearly every top actor was a sticker, they had no sketches, Death Star relics were pulled etc you all remember it. I try to stay positive about almost every product as I know there isn't much I can do but this was a dumpster fire.

Figures that a 1/1 Harrison would be pulled by this thief of a dealer. This guy's shill bids are so flagrant it's nauseating. You can report it all day, but nobody takes any action. Just another part of why this hobby has lost its appeal to a lot of collectors. I hope his dog eats the card.
Do a little analyzing of his bids/bidders on sold auctions and Judge for yourselves. Or just read thread below.

They had sketches, not a lot but they had them. I'm pretty sure I have a MW2 sketch.

No lol, I didn't mean that it didn't have any sketches, I just meant that in comparison to MW1. MW1 hit one per box whereas this was hardly one per case.

Geez, I wonder how much he opened because he's got 3 auto plates and two regular plates. Either he cleaned out the store or had other cards from another source.

Something is fishy here, 13 pretty solid hits, most of them 1/1 with a Ford and also Anakin 1/1 medallion...

Not only that, but the same bidder on dozens of his auctions going back to Nov through February (including bids on his most valuable hockey and football cards....cause we know Star Wars collectors also love buying their high priced sports cards from the same dealers). And bid numbers like $49 and $99 (because when you are trying to win an auction, you bid $99).

It's the bidder that currently shows 1043 feedbacks. It comes up anonymously as 6***i or n***n, depending on which page you're viewing
Then, when I messaged him, telling him that shill bidding is illegal and that people were on to him, the bid cancellations started just 10 minutes later. Makes total sense to cancel over a dozen high dollar bids from a big spender, when you aren't shill bidding. Look at the bottom of this page below. He cancelled a $1075 bid....simply because I messaged him about it.

eBay Item Bid History

But then he just used a different account on his next round of auctions. And I'm sure he will do it again. Great person.

Ya know, eBay gives sellers the ability to block buyers, I don't see why that can't be a 2 way street. Instead you have to do an 'advanced' search. WELL I DON'T WANT TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH. Gimmie some functionality!

Well, I hate to go to bat for someone who shill bids (and this shill bidding is just now being brought to my attention) but I have bought probably 200 trash autos and stamps and medallions from him in the past two months alone from Masterworks. All at rock bottom prices. He definitely opens the product and just dumps at next to nothing the bulk stuff. And what's crazy is no matter how large the order, he still just charges me $3.50 shipping per order.

You can accuse him of shill bidding but the dude definitely moves other auctions like he's cracking cases left and right. I would definitely not accuse him of having some inside Topps action ...

Id like to see them do a future masterwork set where you are guaranteed 2 sketches & 2 autos per box. No patches or medallions.

I would love to see them do a Topps Five Star Style set maybe like the 2013 topps five star baseball set

100 card base set /75 and parallels /10 and /1

Movie Used Relic Card

2-3 On Card Autos per box

1 Sketch Per Box

2-3 Inserts Per Box (maybe 3 Insert Sets)

Make it fairly limited

a topps heritage set could be kinda cool as well format it like baseball have errors, variations, chrome, 2-3 on card autos per case, and maybe 9-10 sketches per case

Ugh, f**k people using bidding bots/services, so annoying. Then again I didn't want to pay that high for the item anyways...

No, it was thru Facebook live in a group.

And yeah it was rough. Sure there's a penix sketch and two mediocre 1/1 cards but having pick one had to be a huge letdown for that guy.

Still much better than the break I had the #1 pick.
I ended up with a parallel lot that had a San Tekka Gold 1/1 base.
