Default Dozer Week 08 Photos

Humm..think its time for a bon fire????

Boys love their toys! While I love this dozer, I'll take the bobcat any day!

The goal of renting the dozer is to take an pond just under 1 acre in size. Used the dozer to get out as much top soil and dirt as we can. Rest will be dug with a drag line and/or excavator

lookin good Rob. Keep it up. I think I would have a great time with the dozer and bobcat. Me and my dad actaually had two bobcats when he built a home in Whitehouse. We used them to make his pond bigger (until we got one stuck in the pond, then had to call AAA to come out and pull it out LOL). Looks like you won't have to worry about wood to burn for a long time.

Screw that, sell that crap and buy a couple cases

You got a sump on that soon to be swamp? Could get real messy if you can't get it dug soon. But looking good so far.

Looks like its time to get the rifle out and serviced up lol. Maybe you could set it up and have a live video feed running from your house. Have a laser and when the dear crosses the lasers path, pop, all she wrote without having to leave the comfort of your recliner lol.

Tony -I'm pretty sure this is the camera I bought my father-in-law last christmas (Cabelas in dundee had it marked down to 75 bucks and now I'm pissed I left 2 behind)! The positioning isn't the best, but so far as long as we turn the camera off while we're driving past it with the dozer and/or bobcat we're getting 400+ photos per round of batteries (its set at 1 min intervals w/1 shot per round). Done a decent job on the big game, and hard to complain about the little critters either.

Cabela's -- Moultrie 5.0 Outfitter Camera with Built-In Viewer

Oh Pskell02...can't use a rifle...smoke pole will be sighted in though. I'm excited. I've yet to shoot a tag able buck, so this might be my first year I don't need a drag rope! No matter how long you boil those antlers you still can't eat them, but they sure do look nice on the wall. We know we've got one very big buck on the property, just haven't seen him yet. If I get him on camera, oh me oh mi. His foot prints are 2x the size of everyone elses we've seen. Just hope he's not to old and his rack is in perfect condition, as I'd like nothing more to christen the "the estate" with a wall hanger!

Nice pixs Rob but I'd have an easier time shooting Pskell then that fawn. Huntings not my thing.

Oh come on now, that one hurt...deep down....

I have a deep hatred for deer. Hit two of them, one of which kicked out my side windows as it rolled over the car. Oh yea, and it kicked me in the left cheek....had a hoof print bruise for about 2 weeks....then the bastard got up and ran away....stupid deer....

The Fawn is just cute....I have no interest in shooting the little ones (same thing with Mr or Mrs Bunny....While it may be tender, I'd much rather give it a chance to survive a winter or two. Now anything thats fully grown and mature thats a different story. I've got an empty freezer and I'm not know for eating salads at dinner.

Mr/Mrs Coon on the other hand we may have a disagreement as they've already spent a night or two in the bobcat...guess my Father-in-law almost filled his shorts when I pulled the tarp off it that one morning.

I hit the bastard at 55. It jumped and landed on my windshield. Damn thing had to weigh 200 lbs. Freaking thing was huge. I was about to take a tire iron to its head when it got up and ran away. Needless to say I was not happy.
