Been given the OK to show one image for the Bettie Page Private Collection. Figured I'd show the drawing I submitted for the base set, since that's the preview they put on the Artist's page on the website.

I wanted to use reference that I figured nobody else would, so hopefully this shot is pretty unique.

Depends on the size. Most sketch cards take an hour or two, longer if I paint them. The larger pieces are at least a minimum 4 hours.

This drawing for a BO member has been in the works for a year.... FINALLY finished and it came out great! One of the toughest pieces I've ever done.

EDIT: Oh, and in case anyone is wondering, I'm not currently taking on more commission work at this time (I normally get asked a lot whenever I post stuff). I'm already backlogged as it is. Sorry.

Yeah, he's just recently been appearing on the East Coast a lot. But he's pushing 90, I don't know how much longer he'll be traveling. It was $55 for an autograph, way more than I've ever paid for anyone before, but it was so worth it.

$55 is a steal to meet the man...there are a few true legends in comic book history, and in my opinion he is the biggest of them all.

No, I've got to get another set for Cryptozoic done and prepare for the Allentown show in October. I'm pretty light by then, so I think in October will be good.
