Question regarding credit card payments

Ok, here's the story. Some guy wants to buy some of my cards, and he's a couple cities away. (he's my long-time buddy so no trust issues here)

He doesn't have any cash, but was asking me if there is anyway I can take a credit card payment.

Is there any way that I can? Would he be able to pay me via Credit Card on Paypal for example?

Any help on this is greatly appreciated!

only through paypal unless you have a merchant account set up with your bank or other payment gateway.

oh. and i think you can only accept CC payments through paypal if you have a permier or business account

How about a convenience check ? Probably a 3% fee, but is by far the easiest thing to do...

The credit card payment was easy enough, all I had to do was go to "Request Money" and send it to an email address. The recipient gets it and fill out Credit Card info.

It was 4% I think, so it's not all that bad.

the % they charge is all good so long as you arent processing 1000's of cc transactions per month......THEN you'd probably want to considering getting a merchant acct at a bank or something
