Been going thru my old boxes of cards trying to salvage anything of value to possibly send to checkoutmycards. I am remembering how much I liked some of these (now-worthless) 1990s sets...
Two of my current favorites (from what I've gone thru so far) are 1994-95 Skybox Basketball e-Motion -- I remember finally pulling the Jordan N-Tense card...that was a good day... and 1992-1993 Parkhurt Hockey -- I just thought it was a good looking card. Anyone else have any personal favorites from the late 80s-90s? __________________ I don't have a YouTube breaks page... |

My favorite worthless cards were the SuperBowl cards out of Pro-Set. I had them all in my binder when I was a kid. I loved the picture on the front, and looking at the SuperBowl ring on the back.

I have to go with all of the inserts in 93 Fleer Baseball. It was the first complete set I ever put together, I believe it was a little over 700 cards, and tried to get all of the inserts but on a 13 year old's salary it was pretty tough and I fell short...I remember the Griffey and Thomas All-Stars were worth something like 20 dollars each....Now maybe 1.00 each....I also put together the Score set that year...and looking back at them, they could be close to the ugliest cards ever produced...That black border was just awful.

I have had the same problems....I found the easiest way to get them apart is by taking a small pile of them and sort of like arching them in the middle, you will hear them unstick. I haven't damaged any of them like that, but if you try to peel them apart one of the two cards usually gets knicked up a little.
