Pretty loyal to my local shop in Mason (Extra Innings). Owners a classy, honest, stand up guy whos pretty cool once you get to know him. May not always get the best deals in town, but I'm treated fairly and anyone that walks in there gets the same price and chance at whats in the box. Searching isn't allowed.....just don't bring your plastic, prices are better as its cash only.

I am not one to visit a card store very often but it would be nice to at least have something to choose from. I live in a Card shop dead area in Springfield,IL. There is one supposed shop in town that has little inventory and outragious prices.

Default LCS - Chicago

CubFan in Springfield - if you ever get up to Chicago, stop by Big John & Little Debby's. They're on the northwest side of the city, just off the Edens. Here's their website -- index.html.

John is an honest guy that doesn't gauge 'new' customers. He usually has a lot of newer baseball, football & basketball boxes; and sells a ton of single cards and autographed memorabilia. Because he and his wife both have full-time jobs, the store is only open on weeknights and weekends.

Just to remind everyone how good they got it, you could be in my shoes and have to drive two and a half hours(193 miles) to the closest card store. It's a not so local card store, otherwise it's Target, Walmart, or 5 days from Blowout. Hence the invention of "emergency boxes."
