Default Can the Detroit Lions go 0-16?

Remaining Games:

Home - Jacksonville, Tennessee, Minnesota, New Orleans, Tampa Bay
Away - Carolina, Indianapolis, Green Bay

On paper I believe that they can do it! The only problem is that on any given Sunday....

Poor Daunte Culpepper signed with the Lions. His legacy will be reduced to nothing.

What do you think?

I hope they do just to secure the top pick. I think they can get past Minn/NO/GB/Jack/TB.

Doesn't mean I think they will win them though. Culpeppers legacy is already trash, he is only known good for throwing deep to Moss.

I was going to say that I don't think you will see another team go 0-16 for a while, but after seeing the schedule, I may have to sway my vote.

I only see Culpepper helping them though. Think about it, Culpepper deep to Moss = Culpepper deep to CJ.

I hope they do. It is my dream to see a team go 0-16. I think this weekend in Detroit biggest threat to a perfect 0-16, they play Jax who as we all know blew up the Bengals perfect season last week.

As much as I say that though, they pull me in each week and I want to see them win. Every since they sacked kitna they have atleast been competitive.

I Dont Think They Will Go 0-16. They Will Get Some Breaks In One Of The Games And Get A Win.

For whatever reason I have picked them to win 4 or 5 times in the BO fantasy league. Guess I have been over estimating the ability of their offense.

As much as Kitna sucks, he had over 4,000 yards passing last year. He just made too many mistakes and didn't get in the end zone.

The Lions were a running back away from having a decent team. of course you need a O-line to run.

I think they may actually win this weekend. Given their schedule this might be their best chance at a win (other than a late season game where starters have been benched). The offense typically isnt the problem, Kitna did real well passing, but its also part of their system...that system being down by 20 points and the only way to win is to throw. Gotta get those O and D lines fixed, then work on the CB's (still like our DB/LB's at this point). D line is actually starting to play a little better.

CJ is a stud and they know it. Hoping Stanton gets the call this weekend, but pskell your right...this could be a great matchup for Culpepper and Johnson...personally we all know I'm hoping it looks more like Stanton and Johnson!

NO WAY NO HOW does Jax lose to the leagues doormats two weeks in a row. If that happens Del Rio shouldn't even get on the plane home.

Lions best shot at a win is a team suffering a let down after a big win or two and being overconfident against a winless team. No way in hell can Jax be overconfident against anyone after last weeks debacle.
