Default Question about NARU'd buyer

I sold a Buy it Now item last night, printed postage and boxed up, ready to go out this morning. When I open my email this morning I get an eBay bid retraction cause the buyer is NARU. The money is still in my Paypal account. Ship as usual, or wait and see what happens? Item was for $145.00

Thanks

Dave....I'm not sure to be honest. If you've got the money I'd ship, but I'd also have the money out of my paypal account asap just to cover your backside. It might also be a good idea to call Ebay before your mailman picks up the package just to make sure.

That's certainly the truth. Just had someone file a chargeback on a Wii Fit I sold like 2 months before and am waiting for Paypal to decide if I'm liable or what. It's very annoying.

could always email the buyer and tell them you see that they are naurd and give that person the option...

he/she might have been naru'd for non payment of sellers fees.. which has happened before... but send that person an email and see whats up.

at least if you can complete the transaction you save on ebay fees

Happened to me, I did what Capt. said. I explained to buyer that do to his status I would need a money order because Ebay and PayPal will not cover you because of the nru status. At $140.00 I would not take the chance with PayPal.
You may be able to have him send PayPal a different way (off Ebay sale) so you are covered, not sure.

Thanks for all the replies. I e-mailed the buyer and gave him the option of a full refund, or to finish the transaction outside of eBay. I will let you know what happens.
Thanks,
