Default You guys buy boxes to to try and pull the big hits or make a set?

I like to buy boxes and make complete base set out of them. All those big pulls are just the sweet bonus to me.

i start by trying 1 box to see if i like the product then if i do i will buy more boxes to get close to completing the set, then see if i could get help with the rest. also if there is a great pull it feels great because i am in it for the collecting.

I'm a base set builder. I'll buy the boxes and put together the sets then maybe try and sell them off. Inserts are typically sold off or traded to get base cards I need.

I have pretty much turned to just set building. The resale on cards is horrible. When I do pick a set to build I go after all inserts as well. That is why I stay away from most of the new products. They all have 10 different tiers of cards which makes it impossible to put a set together. I will look at older products where the market is established, buy a box or two and then buy or trade for what I need to finish it off.

I will go and try a few packs of different products to see what they look like and hopefully pull something nice and then sell it so I can buy what I need or trade it for what I need.

I do both. I usually try to put a Master Set and a Refractor or Base Parallel set together for my 2 boys. Then sell off everyting else, but of course we all buy boxes/cases for the BIG HIT!!! We are all adicts. We alteast I can admit that I am. That is the first step right?

BTW, I realy don't have much of a probelm selling off my sets. I have sold off about 80% of my base sets that I have listed. Maybe just dumb luck....who knows? I;m not complaining.
