Instead of waiting out auctions early on I bought lots of 10 and 5 (but at like $20 each) from Ebay (same place) and the one from Midtown. The lots apparently go out Priority today finally and the single copy went out the 15th.

I am still waiting on a few but oh well. I sold all my first prints and they won't be in hand for a few days. But I let everyone know and they didn't care because they are collectors.

Did you sell any?

I wouldn't wait till inhand you may miss out. Just say in your listing that they are inroute and will be in hand anyday and will ship within 1 buisness day of receiving and should be fine.

I was afraid to list them as I had issues selling a "complete" Heritage High Set last month. It worked out fine the way I had it set up. However, with the 15 comics I became more and more concerned that they may never even be sent.

I was hoping to at least have the single copy to have a true scan to use. The 15 apparently DID ship today so maybe I will list them then. Thanks for the info!

Default Hype has diminished

looks like the hype may be coming down a bit. The last few sales are in the
50's and low 60's. I few even in the upper $40's to $50's. This is still a good return on investment.

GOOD LUCK ANYONE STILL SELLING!!

True but with fee's and shipping if you offered free. it would be like $7-$8 profit. Not worth my time unless I sold 10+.

I still think they will end around 50-60 for a few more days and then who knows.

So I have been reading about this online and there is a third printing that is coming out on January 28th. Some people have the 1st, 2nd and 3rd printings as a set on ebay which was what I was planning on doing...

I did just finally receive my 1st printing copy today (Thanks Indy) which is odd being that I live 45 mins from midtown Manhattan and thats where midtowncomics is located.

Now I have the 1st printing in hand, I ordered 5 copies of the 2nd printing and I guess I will order 5 copies of the 3rd printing (Jan 28th) which means I can only sell one complete set of the comic being that I only have one copy of the first printing.

the 3 printing ones look like they're going for decent money, but if you dont have the copies ordered by now it might be too late

FYI, I'm pre-selling CGC Graded 9.8 2nd prints starting at $69 and getting bids.. just something for you guys to think about if you're willing to do the grading thing.

Here's a great email I got earlier tonight about an auction where I have a 1st Print Regular Cover and a 1st Print Variant

"Hi, No one has bid on this item is it possible to buy this out right for $25.00"

Just thought I'd share.

Just like how Sports Cards are graded, there is a company called CGC (Certified Guaranty Company) who grade comics. A 9.8 is Mint condition, a 10 being perfect, but hardly any comics ever get that. You submit them to CGC, along with $15 per book, and wait a few weeks and they return in nice cases with their grade, like this

that's what I then send the customer. I'm sending in more than I sell to help insure I get enough 9.8's to cover my orders. If you're not familiar with doing it, you might not want to venture into that since there is room for mistakes and you might have to eat a book or two. I'm able to do it because of the volume of books I bought and am cushioning my sales with extra copies.

do you think its better to sell all 5 in one lot or sell them separately. I am talking about the 2nd printings? I was thinking of doing a bin bo of 99.99 but I was wondering if a one day auction starting at .99 would be better.

I saw a lot of 5 sell for $49 earlier today. 99 might be pushing it. Look at previous sales for this evening. I think you could sell it on a BIN at the right price, perhaps 79.99 OBO

Midtown doesnt even have the third printing on their website yet. I read it comes out Jan 28th so they might not sell it until then.

5 2nd printings for $49.00 isnt too bad considering you probably paid less than 20 bucks for them yourself.

Yeah, with shipping I think 5 copies only set me back $20
