Indy do you think it would be start to hold onto a couple or just sell now when they are hot. Do these have a chance of going up any more?

Yours sold with a BIN of $99+ and I get offers of $45 and $54 on mine set at $89.99...Hows that work? haha

I might hold onto the one coming from Midtown for a little while after this one sells. Just in case they go up even higher once the first round starts to disappear.

I just picked up my issue from the LCS. The owner said that if your going to sell it sell it now because a few months down the road you will be lucky to get $20 for it.

don't give the choice of BO and be patient. The 1st prints are drying up fast. I just bumped mine to $149.00 BIN

So you think I should drop the BO and up the price?

he's absolutely correct. The funny thing about the secondary comic market is the item will be hot for about a week, maybe two then die down. Selling after that for any sort of profit requires grading of the comic, and the demand is much lower, so even graded, you won't get as much as you will now. NOW is the time to sell them. Put them out there with a BIN of between 99.95 and $149 and you should be able to sell it within 24 hrs.

Got an email today from Midtown with a tracking number should have it tomorrow or Saturday. Once in hand I agree with Indy. It's going on with a BIN of around 149.00. Will see what happens. On an investment of 3.39 what ta hell

Got confirmation and put mine on for 149. Will lower as either price goes down or no offers. Thanks so much Indy. Should be a great investment. If not, it will be a great piece comic, and the only one I own.

Cool UPS tracking shows delivery today. On Ebay tonight. Question though. Does anyone think the 1st printing would be worth more years down the road? That is should Obama do something for our country. I only got 1 copy and was just wondering. Indy you seem to have some good insight. What do you think?

It could go either way Marino5084. The book could very well go up in value, the problem is the demand won't be as high later, so it'll be harder to sell even though it's worth a bit more. If you want to make some quick money, now is the time to sell. If you want to make more over time, sit on it. It's really up to you, but either way I think the book will be valuable, the only change will be demand. The demand is pretty high right now. Then again, should he screw up the country, it won't be worth as much, although people might want to buy it to burn it.

Yeah, he does. I have one up at 124.95 BIN. I have looked at the just completed and almost complete and looks like 80-100 is the going price. I see so many up for sale that anything over 99.99 in a 1-3 day auction might not sell. I am lowering mine to 109.99 and gonna leave it there. I don't think this will be such a sought after issue more then 3-4 weeks at most, then sell prices will drop off big time. If you hold it for awhile, its anyones guess if it will sell for more.

LOL. See I knew you had good insight. Well it should be here shortly and I am going to list it. Even making $90.00 on a $3.39 investment, hell got anything else up your sleeve Indy.

2nd prints are selling anywhere from 3.99 to 9.99 - if that's the kind of profit you want to make off sales, it might be worth it for you. That may go up since they're now doing a 3rd printing.. Some comics go as high as 4 and 5 printings, and if so, the 2nd print value will rise.

This may never happen, but what happens if demand is so high early, that they make three printings, and then they THINK they need to make a fourth printing, but the demand is WAY down. Would the 4th printing then become more valuable than the 2nd and 3rd? (Or even the first?)

rarely, but it has happened. For example, Batman #612, the first one goes for roughly $5 but the 2nd printing goes for $12 (due to the cover being different).. so it's hard to say, maybe they'll go up more than the first, but I wouldn't count on it. that rarely happens, but has in the past.

I think you should be happy with anything over $80. I know I will. I think the only way these go up anymore at this point is if one of the major news outlets issue a story on it.
