What does your username mean?

Just wondering. I've seen some really simple ones, like somebody's name or something like fsu (Florida State Uni) 2007, and some really awkward ones that im not even gonna try to pronounce. Ill explain mine first:

sportzluvrz= Name of the Shop I own

1= Number I picked

Again with the Beckett. I have never been to that site (maybe to check my redemptions) and probably never will ever peruse it. Just thought it would be cool to share some info about something we all have in common on this site.

Vortekv8 is actaully the license plate for my car. I own a v8 mustang that I put a vortech supercharger on. You can only use 7 letters/numbers on a plate so I shortened Vortech to Vortek as you can see.

fsu2007- well of course I am a huge Fsu fan since 1989 even though I lived for 20 years in Miami (can't stand the hurricanes) and the 2007 was when blowout switched to the new board the year was 2007.

One of my close friends has a 04 Cobra that came with the SC. He just took it to some shop in South Florida and made is ridiculously fast. 700+ HP.

I used to have a 94 Firehawk with around 600 HP...Ahh those were the days. I keep telling my wife we should get a new car seeing how this is the best time ever to buy one.

Maybe I can convince her on the 2010 Camaro......unlikely but worth a shot!

Mine is a little more in depth and it comes from my friends being idiots.

When I was a junior in college I rented an upper flat of a house in Buffalo. Well at the time my friends claimed (although I will deny this till the day I die) that I had a hair cut like Lloyd Christmas from Dumb and Dumber.

One night (which turned out to be many nights by the time I moved out), my friends and I decided to get plastered on the patio. I did something to piss off my friend, and in a drunken rant about how I constantly pissed him off, he called me Floyd Christmas. I was called Floyd for a while until they all decided to become lazy and shortened it to Flo and it stuck. The Flobert is one of the many variations of my name (Flobot, Flobie, etc).

Oh...and the 1205 is my birthday.

Nice autos. Yeah I love my stang, and still actually have it (wife let me hold on to my baby that way when I drive it to this day I can remember the highschool/college years of my life). Have roughly about $15K invested into it so hard to sell and not lose my ass anyways. Good luck with the new Camaro..looks really nice

No whammies is what the contestants on the old game show Press Your Luck used to say all the time. When I joined ebay in 2000 I for some reason thought the phrase to be appropriate/humorous and I made that my user name. I wanted people to smile but know that they shouldn't press their luck by trying to rip me off. I am too lazy to come up with something else that is actually clever or funny, so I have been using this for a lot of sites for 9 years now. I still get comments on the name from various other sites, mainly from people like me who remember the good old days when game shows were fun and still could be totally beaten by memorizing the supposedly random pattern.
