Cards for the kids of Blowout

First off I am not talking about kids just under 18 on this board I mean children of the adult members of this board.

I have a bunch of base and low dollar inserts just accumulating on my desk and I was trying to think of a good way to get rid of them. Anyone on here that I have traded with knows that usually just trade for some common refractors for my son who is 5 and have the envelope addressed to him. He gets such an expression on his face when some cards come to him in the mail even though he only knows a handful of players. I thought that what better way to pass on some of these cards but to mail them out to some of the children of the members on this board. I would hope that some more people would join in and help spark some interest for our next generation of collectors.

If anyone interested would just reply to this thread than I think we could have some fun sending some cards out. For safety sake any addresses should be sent by PM, you can't be too careful.

I agree with you 100% on this, and if anyone would like some free base cards I have a ton that I would love to send out to kids who would appreciate them. Send me a PM.

What my lcs does is give-um to kids who are doing good in school. I always leave the base cards and ones I dont want for him to give to the kids...so that I do not have a buch of cards that I think I have to do something with.Its good for the kids, plus I dont have a bunch of cards lying around for my wife get mad about

a fun thing i do is take some base cards and add a jersey card to some of the packs and reseal them with my food saver and give them to this kid. he has fun opening them up himself to get the hits.

I give a few to my daughter, she is still a bit young but she loves them, and I give them to other family members my nieces and nephews, my step brothers and sister they get some jersey cards from and an occasional auto, got a few young cousins as well, they get a kick out of them, although havent had anything for them lately, cause havent been able to buy any product, lol.

this is like buying hot packs from ebay...definitely a good idea for children just getting into collecting...if I had kids I'd def. buy from you =)

Are you still doing this? I am sure my daughter would love some cards in the mail, especially if the players have purple in their uniforms.

I could be really greedy and dishonest and say that he isn't still doing this, but that would be really lousy of me. Luckily, he is still doing it. But thank you so very much for the offer findizzle04. (I'm not saying she wouldn't like a second package lol)

not for my child, but my little brother wants to collect Panther cards so I gave him my base and inserts that I had and his face just lit up and he was so happy. So Anyone Panthers I know he would love

Not to be picky but if anyone just has some Basketball cards,(becuase thats all we watch) my two sons and nephew would love to get some mail days.
