2012 F150 lariat 3.5 v6 twin turbo

Well I took the plunge today I traded in my 2010 f150 XLT supercrew V8 5.4 for a 2012 f150 lariat 3.5 V6 Twin turbo eco boost. I must say I love this new truck. Alot more power with alot better gas mileage this engine is a beast i love it.

I still enjoy driving my grandpa's old 1991 toyota pickup more than anything else. No automatic transmission, power steering, power windows or a/c and @ 125k miles shes got a good 200-300k left in her.

Very nice. I've wondered how people would like the new engines. I currently drive a dodge crew cab and love it, but I was born and raised Ford. I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to buy ford again.

hahaha yea let me think about that trade its sounds like a great deal to me. Im waiting to get the chrome package installed on it the dealer has to order the parts then im gonna take pics should have it on by saturday. Im going to an exhasut shop on monday to put dual exhaust on it. It prolly wont sound as deep as it did on the V8 but I bet you can prolly here the turbos kick in more once the exhaust is installed. On the way home from the movies I raced a dodge ram hemi V8 and smoked the crap out of that truck it was impressive.

I still have my old 96 full size 2 door blazer...its a gas hog and almost everything still works lol. The birds seem to love it, favorite target in the yard it seems.

Heard good things about the Ecoboost V6. Might be a few years before I buy one used though.
