I went to my first game at Citi Field today and I was impressed. There is still some work to do around the park with the junkyards but I believe that will be taken care of within the next three years. There are plans to build a small community in it place with restaurants and hotels plus a shopping mall.

Nice pics J ... I've been to NYC a few times, but I'm not sure exactly where the new park is. Is that the Flushing Bay that you can see beyond the outfield seats?
I stayed at a Marriot across from Laguardia once... that was a nice and load stay but it was cool to watch the planes (I was only 12 at the time)

So, lets see how many HR's Chipper hits there before his career is over. I bet the mets wish the could have him with all the damaged he has caused with the mets. David Wright is younger and chipper, well hard to play to great 3rd basemen everyday
. Looks like an awesome park though.
