PayPal Email Scam Alert!!

I don't know if its just me or has anyone else been getting these spoof emails claiming to be from PayPal. The email usually states that your account has had some failed login attempts and is about to be suspended or terminated unless you click a link in the email and verify your account.

Seems pretty obvious but some folks might fall for this. If you click the link more than likely you will just be handing over your password to a thief. I have called and emailed PayPal about this and they said that it is a scam and that they have sent nothing of that to me and if they had it would read totally different. PayPal said that this isn't uncommon. They also stated to not even open the email if you can help it, just delete it asap and then empty your trash bin.

I just wanted to make others aware of this if they were not already. I have had about 5 of these in the past 2 weeks.

I have. I forgot to add that but anybody who gets on of these should definitly forward to spoof@paypal.com

I delete, delete, delete and delete.
I delete all e-mails from PayPal and Ebay! If they are not in your messages on the site itself they are FAKE!!!!

How long will it take people to realize Ebay and PayPal or any bank for that will NOTask for private info in an e-mail
