Anyone here ever hear of a "Push" Gift

My wife and I are expecting our first baby in October. She explained to me the other day that Its a new tradition to get her a "Push" gift.

I have never heard of a "push" gift........man we are going to have to start our own "gift" days. Lets see....

"sit and wait" gift (if she gets the "push" gift we get this for waiting at the hospital)

"sports sorrow" gift (hey when are we all the most down....when our teams lose)

"Kicked in the junk" gift (when we open a crap wax box, we should get another to try and redeem ourselves)

"time of the month" gift (when there not happy once a month, we take punishment)

I think I got something going here. I might have to speak to my wife about all the missed gifts that she owes me over the years. It has to be worth atleast a few cases by now

Never heard of a push gift and my daughter is 4 months old.

We did however, take a "Babymoon" to Bermuda 4 months before she arrived.

This is a lame girlie thread.

Its all a big scam.

I have heard of it, and have purchased one and another will be purchased soon. My wife is pregnant with our second, she is due in May. The first gift I game her a ring with the childs birth stone, she loved it!

My wife tried the same thing on me. I told her that I needed a gift for doing all of the housework the first 3 months of the pregnancey when she was so tired she couldn't get her ass off the couch. Needless to say neither one of us got one.

Thanks for the well wishes.....I guess if I dont get her something it would be bad......she loves to bring up that she bought me a flat screen TV when she got her ring which isnt a fair trade but oh well lol

Asked my wife if she heard of this and she said, "probably just his wife's way of letting him know to bring flowers or something to the hospital the day she delivers SINCE MOST MEN DON"T THINK OF THESE THINGS."

I def dont buy flowers for the wife.. Cuts into the money that I would spend on an item that is sports related.. Plus flowers die while my purchase will live on for others to look at.

Yeah I thought the baby was a gift enough, I guess if you do something sweet that's related to the baby then it's cool. I wouldn't get anything just for her.
