Default An idiot with an International Shipping question

I had an auction end on a card for $64 with $3 shipping but I didn't exclude International Buyers from bidding and someone from France won the auction. He has already paid the $67 and before I email him to try to cancel the transaction I thought I'd try to figure out what the shipping would cost.

So I go to print the Shipping Label, click on Priority Mail International - Padded Flat Rate Envelope and it said it would be $16.95 but I drove to my local FedEx/UPS Store and they said it would cost $90 to ship it to the address in France.

So my question is does the $90 sound right to ship a jersey card to France? Or did I not select the right option on the Shipping Label page?

Thanks for any info

You understand USPS Priority Mail and UPS/Fed-Ex are two completely different things right?

Its hard to call an intl bidder an idiot when you didnt exclude international bidders from your auction.

Sorry I must have misread. What did he say? I read the above....

He had an auction
It ended for $64
$3 shipping

"But he didnt exclude international buyers from bidding"

what does that mean?

Unless he is calling himself a idiot and it flew right over my head. In which case I apologize.

If I was Bob, Id send it by regular mail. $60 is not worth sending via fedex or EMS.

Yes but I didn't think the prices would be so different

I ship cards overseas all the time with no issue. I charge $3.25 and send all my cards out via First Class Mail International. Over the past few months with the economic unrest in Europe sales have slowed enormously overseas, but I'm still getting some interest in my items in my store. The beauty of Paypal!

Postage Price Calculator

Assuming 3 oz is 4.56 but this is without any tracking info. For full tracking you need to use priority
