Arrow How we can help save the world!

This day in age, we have recycling, which just makes us re-use things, or such. Most of us here sell or trade pretty often, which means you have to use bubblemailers each time. (unless a PWE trade). Yes, at $0.08 a bubble mailer, its cheap and you can just recycle them each time you recieve one from another member. Here is what I want us to start doing. Re-using bubble mailers. I mean if they are in very poor condition, you may recycle. I write the traders address and my address on white paper, the cut them out and tape over old address. I am proud to say with over 60 Positive Transactions of trading or selling, I have never bought a bubble mailer.

I have a huge stash of used bubble mailers. I clean up old labels and stick the new paypal shipping label over anything I can't rip off. New tape all around, and it's nice and secure.

Thats great, so you don't have to buy, and you re-use!

Yes, I also reuse bubble mailers many times.

I reuse team bags, I use decoys to secure the cards within the team bags and I make sure to never throw away any shipping supply I might use in the future.

This includes: bubble wrap, "peanuts", large yellow envelopes, and boxes that are still in good shape.

(I sell other things, not just cards).

LOL, actually there was this one time where I received a package that had 5 stamps that had not been marked.

I was able to peel them out and reuse them for letters.

This might seem extreme, but my "Margins" are razor thin, I need all the help I can get.

One more thing, at my old job, I was able to take advantage of certain things such as packing tape, and I would deliver my own mail when I was delivering company mail, the great part was that I was given gas money to drive to the Post Office.

The job payed lousy, but the benefits were awesome.

If I don't have to wreck the mailer to open it then I reuse it.

I have a bin with probably 20 mailers in it right now and if I need to send anything out it goes in one of them first.

To be honest the only things I recycle are bottles and cans.

I'm not gonna pay for a little green box at my house. Nor go out of my way and stop somewhere to drop #@#@#@#@ off. I'm 20 years old I don't have time for that stuff

Recycle?

I still throw my fast food trash, cigarette butts and beer bottles out the car window when I'm doing like 50 MPH............I don't have time for this treehugging "recycle" crap.

I'm lucky working at a print publisher in that we recycle ALL sorts of paper. At home, they only accept newsprint. At work, if it's remotely some sort of paper product or by-product, it all goes in the same bin and the recycling company deals with it...

I used to reuse the bubble mailers but then I got a complaint from somebody who bought some cards from me about how I used an old, reused bubble mailer. I did recently bought 100 #000 mailers, but I do save the ones that are bigger just in case I do need some larger mailers. I will also cut up and use the old mailers as packing material as well

A little off topic, but does anyone hate receiving cards in those envelopes that are lined with paper mulch. I hate opening those things cause they fly everywhere.

I don't re-use them, I save them up in a big pile and burn them in a fire

So I guess I do re-use them just not for shipping but for starting fires

Pay it forward. Granted, it'll get Haley Joel Osment killed, but who needs another little Forest Gump?

I have a ton of brand new ones I use for one or 2 card trades but I save all the bigger ones I get and reuse them. Anyone who complains about getting a used mailer sucks. Unless the cards were damaged

Never thought of reusing mailers, probably because every time i get one I rip through like a kid on Christmas morning, might have to be more gentle next time...
