Has anyone ever gotten this message from Upper Deck for a Redemption?

I bought it unscratched from someone on this board.

Is there anyway to see the lettering below the scratch surface???

With Upper Deck redemptions, yes. I have a couple that I didn't need to scratch off to read the code.

BTW, that is the reason most people don't show the entire card in a scan, because the codes bleed through. Sorry about your problem.

Edit: I am not accusing anyone, just playing the Devil's advocate!

It could also be a case of simple "error". Weird though...

I believe I read about UD sending out two separate redemption cards with the same exact code on them before so it could be a mistake made by UD as well.

I called UD and they told me to mail them the card and they will honor it.

Just to Update Upper Deck Honored the Card after I mailed them the original.

Just Received my Mammoth Femur and my Auroch Femur cards yesterday.

Pretty Nice Cards, Extra thick with the fossil sealed behing clear plastic.

Now all I have to do is learn how to clone one.
