Anyone know anything about snakes?

My snake ran away yesterday and was outdside. Does anyone know where it could be hiding or a way to somehow trap it? It is very friendly I just have no clue where it is.

I am very sad It was my pet for 5+ years.

What type of snake is it? Depending on the species, it may be more inclined to sunny areas or be more of a night dweller that would find a big rock to burrow under during the day.

wet a big spot on the ground and put sugar on the wet ground. Then put a huge rock over it. This usually Brings out a few overnight

Sorry. I actually didn't read the original post until you posted above...

Sorry to hear about your snake. I would go around asking neighbors if they've seen it and just go out there and do some searching... can't think of anything else.

If it's not a huge snake then a big pan with the lid should do the job?

My Burmese Python got loose in the house many years ago. My little brother who originally left the cage lid loose found it is his bottom dresser drawer.

It probably tired of all the questions you asked it. Probably fed itself to the neighborhood rottweiler.

My neighbor in college had a python. It escaped and was found dead in a speaker box in a dorm room 5 miles away.

My bro lost his boa about two months later he found it outside in the bushes. A chance its still on ur property look for holes. Mabye later if its a nice sunny day check the streets,porches, driveways
