Potential Hot Comic Idea #4 - Reborn #1

Presale price at Midtown has already jumped to full retail of $4.99 per issue, so anyone who got in before today saved some $$$.. This is a good sign. They must be getting low already.. Tomorrow is the big news day.. I'm excited, hope it's HUGE news.. I went ahead and ordered a couple more at $4.99, they'll probably sell out tomorrow.

There are two covers, an A and B cover, every other one is the same cover. There is no regular variant, only a special Dynamic Forces variant, which isn't really that important to me since it's a special cover. As to which will be more popular Cover A or Cover B, I don't know, it's hard to say until the public starts buying them. I've bought equal amounts of both covers. The Dynamic Forces variant is around $15 dollars, but I think this issue could be so hot, that I'm not bothering with the variant at this point due to it initial price, I'd rather spend that extra money on more base issues A & B.. That make sense?

45 mins from release. I'm going up to the comic store and gonna grab a copy at 11 to see what the hub-bub is all about. I'll let every know, but the major media may be picking up on it by then too.

Do you think the Reborn title will have a huge backing since almost all main comic characters always come back (Superman, Phoenix, even Bucky to name a few). It sounds like DC will announce Batman's (Bruce Wayne) return in the sometime in the near future (I didn't even know that he died so maybe that is all speculation). Bucky fans may get pissed off about this as well since his tenure will be relatively short lived.

Anyways, I've ordered some Cap #600's and Reborn #1's anyways to cover myself if this does take off. I would have never thought the Spiderman Obama issue would have done what it did, so thanks again for both these tips.

It's hard to say for sure, but if they do base the movie off this mini-series, it could be worth considerably more. Nobody knows for sure yet, but it's a much cheaper investment than sports cards and at least you know exactly what you're getting when you buy comics instead of packs/boxes
