Default Summe Movies

Well the summer blockbuster season has begun. Is anyone here looking forward to seeing any new movies coming out. I personally am looking forward to Transformers 2 and taking my 6 year old to see Harry Potter 6. It comes on her birthday. She is obsessed with Harry. Anyone see the movie Up? If it is worth seeing please lmk. Thanks

I am looking forward to the new Transformers movie too. The first one was simply awesome, so I expect the same from this one. My wife loves Harry Potter (no she isn't 6 years old lol), so it looks like I will end up seeing that one. I'm also looking forward to the GI Joe movie out of pure curiousity. Has anyone seen the new Star Trek or Terminator movies? Those are on my list of films to see this summer.

Yep transformers 2 here also. Requested it off and the following day. That way if I like it, I can see it again. The first was AMAZING. I got a nice size group going. Should be awesome.

Agree with you. But the 7 year in me can't resist. I'll be taking some time to check it out.

I can't wait for GI Joe either. Been wanting to see that since I was a kid. There are a ton of great movies coming out this year.

The wife and I have to be picky when it comes to movies due to finding a sitter.

We made it Trek and loved it.

We have to do Harry Potter with the 9 year-old, and we both loved the trailer for Transformers 2.

All the rest will probably have to be DVD for me... this is why we have a huge plasma TV though

Yeah I know i have read the books so, I'll have to cover her eyes or something. 6 isn't too bad but 7 will be not very kid friendly. She is the biggest Harry Potter fan out there. I am reading the book to her now so she can have a picture of the movie. Yeah I am going to have to see Up I think. G.I. Joe looks all right. Yeah alot I'll wait for BLU-RAY to watch at home. I can't believe how expensive movies are (with all the popcorn and pop too).

I thought it was illegal for a grown man to date a 12 year old

On a more serious note, everything I've heard about UP has been positive. I would like to see it eventually.

I've got three kids, & we watch all of the Pixar & some of the other animated movies as a family. I actually enjoy a lot of them. Up looks like one I would want to see with the kids.

I saw Hangover today. That was the funniest movie I have seen in a looong time..
Ready for Transformers as well. G.I. Joe too, but don't really have high hopes for that one. Those were the toys/cartoons of choice when I was a kid..

I saw:
Star Trek: 4 stars (even though Ive never seen a trek movie in my life, cept for this one).
Terminator: 3 stars (not enough action, could of been better.)
Up (in 3d): 4 stars (Plot is more for adults than kids. But still humorous for the kids.)

Want to Watch:
Transformers 2
GI joe
Drag me to Hell
public enemy
taking of pelham 123
harry potter
Night at the museum
angels and demons

A friend of mine said Drag Me To Hell is a great movie. Really funny. If you like Evil Dead or Army of Darkness type of horror movies, then you will be in for a treat.
