I'm worried for the folks that will believe this and take it too far. Remember that religious story with a man saying the world would end (about a year ago)? People were committing murder-suicides in the family so they didn't have to deal with the end. I mean that is the biggest problem with believing it.

But man, I'd love to get flung into outer space.

I'm actually very scared for Dec. 21, as many people will be taking it seriously. The CBC did a documentary a couple of years ago, where they interviewed a couple of people who planned to jump to their deaths to "save the world". I fear these few people won't be the only ones who kill themselves that day.

I really hope it doesn't get too out of hand.

I'm not sure if it was mentioned but I heard they never took into account the extra day of leap years so the world really should have ended in like 2006 or something if they did the maths right
