Dec 21 talk.. No religion comments please.

What do you guys think will happen? Massive solar flares blow the earth away? A massive planet crashing into earth? Planets aligning and cause us to lose gravitational pull flinging us to outter space? Nothing? like the last 20 things that were predicted? I know in the last 28 years I have been alive we were supposed to die numourous times, is it possible that somebody can predict something 1000's of years down the road and it actually happening?

What's your guys thoughts as to what is "going to happen"
Please keep this a fight free thread.

I myself have plans that following day to visit family and don't see anything happening. I don't believe anybody can predict the future, not even chuck Norris

I'm pretty sure the Mayans were on bath salt, lol, like I said I don't see anything happening, I could see cults having mass suicides or something the day before or something but other then that I'm going to wake up poop, shower and turn on the ol tv. Possibly a lot of store break ins and a lot of crazy people doing stupid stuff thinking their going to die the next day, banks being held up Thursday...

I don't see anything too crazy going down culture wise. It's not the first time someone claimed the world was going to end, and none of the past occasions have been too interesting. I mean heck, there are a few crazy claims just in this list - End of the World Predictions | 12 Failed End of the World Prophecies

By the way I had no idea Pat Robertson claimed the Judgement would be in 1982. Though to be fair the #1 single of 1982 was Physical by Olivia Newton-John.

Starting Dec 1st ill be scanning Craigslist for as many deals as I can due to idiots thinking the world is going to end

But my wife wants the whole family to dress up and have a great possible last meal on the 20th and just enjoy our time together and all of us fall asleep in bed together just in case lol

Here's the thing though is when we go to bed at 11pm isn't it ALMOST the 22nd in Australia and places that are ahead of us? So for everyone to die on he 21st wouldn't we have to die before 11am?

Nothing, the Dec 21st the mayans were referring to already happened. Our time schemes are a bit different and they didnt account for leap years so on and so forth.

Extra food for thought, if the mayans were so smart THEN WHY ARE THEY ALL DEAD?

in the future, it will be global warming, overpopulation, and when people realize you can't have infinite growth on a finite planet.
