Default Steve McNair's Pastor telling us what to think

I am sorry but this one really frosts my cookies.
Steve McNair's pastor and close friend cautioned against judging the ex-NFL quarterback Thursday, reminding people who gathered for his memorial not to cast the first stone when talking about his life off the field. McNair, who was married, was shot to death at his condo early Saturday by his 20-year-old girlfriend, Sahel Kazemi, who then turned the gun on herself.
I have my own mind and free will and will think the way that I want to think. My judgement of McNair as a football player has not been changed, but I do not hold his personal life in high regard when he is caught cheating on his wife and KIDS with a 20 year old tart. Sorry.
Please drop me a PM if you have any of the following for sale: Topps Baseball 1953-1967

I thought frosting cookies was a good thing.

I understand what you're saying here as I'm disappointed in him as well for cheating on his wife. It's hard for me to feel sorry for him. However, the pastor is right in regards to the majority of people who will pass judgement and think badly of him because none of us are without sin. He shouldn't have done what he did. Just like the many things each of us do that we know we shouldn't be doing.

Yeah, I agree. Nowhere did the pastor say McNair's actions were right, but to maybe look at yourself before you judge him. In other words, no one's perfect. He made a mistake, and he paid the price. Judging him now isn't going to change the outcome.

nothing wrong with what the Pastor said. Basically everyone screws up in some facet of life so don't judge.

Screw Steve McNair, feel sympathy for his wife and kids. Has to be hard as hell to bury your husband while knowing he was sneaking behind your back with not one but possibly two women. Remember, they say the mistress shot him because she thought he was cheating on her as well. His wife has to be a wreck emotionally.
