I went to college with Plaxico Burress at Michigan State and we actually did an english project together (he did show up for class ). When the Giants won the Super Bowl a few years ago and thought it was so cool that I knew him, but then he got into all that trouble and it was like....Plaxico who??? He wouldn't know me from Adam now. He was pretty down to earth back then though.

There were a few other guys I knew from MSU as well and we all played pickup ball together, but they wouldn't know me now either....Charlie Bell, Morris Peterson, and Mateen Cleaves. I was the one token white 3-point shooter on the court. Some good memories, so I'll take it!

I went to High School with the guys from Grand Buffet. They played my brother's 10th birthday in our basement in 1995 or so.

Haha mine is basically the same as yours Eric. Went to school with Dahl and got to know some of the Barons players (mainly Jared Mitchell and Greg Paiml). Also, I don't really know him, but my friend's great-grandfather is Stan Musial. Probably doesn't count, but I though it was pretty cool!

EDIT: Also a guy named Chandler Hoffman. He was drafted 13th overall in the most recent MLS draft by the Philadelphia Union. Our families are pretty good friends

I went to high school with John Kuhn of the Packers. I also coached his little sisters basketball team. Very nice guy.

Meaning, you have their phone number in your phonebook and they know your full name if they saw you in public?

Adam Sandler is from where I grew up and still live today. He comes to his old high school almost every year and gives a speech or something. Never seen it myself. He still goes to the same local diner and local restaurants every once in a while.

My uncle is the head coach of the Cal Bears. I have been able to meet quite a few famous players, like Rodgers, Lynch, Jackson, etc.

People I know:

Travis Baptist - former MLB pitcher (he is in my fantasy football league, and is my cousin's brother-in-law.)

Courtesy of CheckOutMyCards.com

Doug Corella - Keyboardest for The Verve Pipe (He grew up down the street from my dad. Still friends with my aunt.)

Kirsten Haglund - Miss America 2008 (went to HS and friends with my sister, I met her when I helped out with their HS musical back in 2004)

Jerry is a sweet, sweet man. I met him briefly a few months ago -- quite the gentleman like you said and VERY funny. Nice story you have though

To go along with the "Music, Music, Music" that just came out, my first cousin once removed is Father Michael Joncas who wrote "On Eagles' Wings" and still teaches at a local college today.

My uncle's nephew is Danny Heep who won World Series rings with the '86 Mets and '88 Dodgers while spending most of his 13-year career as a Util/OF/PH.

I graduated high school one year ahead of Joel "The Vanilla Gorilla" Przybilla, the 7'1" center for Portland. Myself, I am a *towering* 5'8" (LOL) but can say that I stuffed Joel once in a pickup game of basketball...although I think we were about 11-12 years old at the time...but who's counting!?!

Me lol. I was on the box for Little Tikes basketball hoop. Last time I checked if I was still on it, was back in 2011. Not sure if I'm on it today though. If I am, it would be 16 years (I'm 17). I have pics and stuff to prove it too

- Delivered flowers to Anjelica Huston.
- Introduced Olympic Gold Medalist Billy Mills before a speech he delivered.
- Helped Chili Davis throw batting practice at a baseball clinic.
- Had a 30-minute conversation with Rev. Billy Kyles, the only person still alive that was at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s side when he was shot and killed. Actually, one of the most surreal experiences of my life.
