Default Question Regarding Itunes/Dvd's . Help Appreciated:)

Will think of something to give someone who can help .

I want to take physical dvds i have, and rip them to my computer somehow and then have them in itunes so that i can put them onto my iphone.

Is there a way to do this.

Tried doing one dvd as a test and it took like 3 hours and was grainy and fuzzy.
i picked iphone 4s as the output file.

It's really sort of a standard program that people use to do that sort of thing...

Question: Did you check it on the iPhone or on the computer? You might be surprised at how it looks on the phone as Handbrake's defaults are supposed to be quite good...

Anyway, here's some good reading for you: One Handbrake setting to rule them all (Apple TV 2, iPad, iPhone 4)? - MacRumors Forums

I thought it was pretty easy to. I checked the preview it lets you see and that looked bad , but when i transferred it to the iphone after it was done it still was like that.
So not sure why.
