Default Bidding sites where you buy bids....your thoughts?

Hi everyone, I've been thinking about joining one of the ever growing websites where you buy bids to bid on items.

Quibids.com

Ubid.com

Bidhere.com

Dealdash.com

These are just a few of many.

Does anyone have any experience bidding on these sites or similar ones??

Has anyone won anything?

Responses would be much appreciated, thanks!

I'm on SkoreIt...have never actually bought any bids yet I just collect the free ones you get every once in awhile then go all out on one item.

Let's just say I'm glad I'm not paying for those bids.

I'm still convinced the majority of the winners are not real.

Don't use them, 100% against it.. One of them closed down and I just signed up for a membership and lost $150 Also I was doing the math they make a killing on their auctions! For example if an iPad sells for $100.00 on the site that's 10,000 bids that were placed (One bid = .01 raise in price) and if the bids were even only bought at a quarter each (Usually range from .10 - .75 depending on how many you buy) Then they've made $2,500 on a $500 product

Cool, but have you yourself won anything with the free bids you have collected?

Yeah, I've heard about that...

It sucks you lost $150, but that's why I wanted to get some responses from real people to know if I should get in on this.

So far, it looks like most people are negative about these sites...

They're actually a lot like playing online poker. The normal group of folks frequent various Sites. If you watch long enough, you start learning bidding/buying habits, what to bid on, what not to, etc. I know a guy that scored TONS of swag on the cheap by playing it right.

Sure, the Site makes tons of cash money, but the winner gets a sweet item at an absolute fraction of the price.

I used to do them. I won a 20 darden gift card. I went all out to win the card just to see if it was possible to win anything.

On the backs of everyone else. When you get an item you're not a winner, you're an accomplice. Possibly unwitting but still an accomplice.

These "auction" sites are a scam. Don't bother.
