Default Shipping Prices on Expensive Items...

Don't ask why, but I was watching a tape of a coin show from ShopatHome from like 4 years ago, and they were showcasing really elite coins ($4,000-$16,000 range). Even with the high prices though, EVERY coin charged $54.99 shipping. I know for a person spending that type of $$, the shipping cost probably means nothing, but seriously! Unless you bought a coin for $5,000 and am selling it for $5,100, why charge shipping at all??? Just seems wrong...

Ya and insurance is $1 for every $100 so like $10 for every $1,000 so $50 for every $5,000 just for insurance and they $4.99 for S&H sounds right

I guess I'm just thinking that the markup for each coin is a tad bit more than like $100 (sarcastic of course), so I just think they can just take that amount out of the markup, but oh well...
