Default Paypal Claim

I bought a Roddy White SP Authentic Falcon Wing Patch a few weeks ago and filed a claim to get my money back because I suspect it might be fake.

Does paypal usually side with the buyer in this case? Thanks.

Wow...tough one buddy. I'm not gonna say "I told you so", but I had my suspicions from the beginning. I hate to say, but I'm guessing no way you win unless you can prove it's a fake. (BTW, what changed your mind?)

I don't get why you think that's something to laugh at. You're going to be a pain in the seller's backside because you think you paid too much?. Don't be a douche, get over it and move on.

Ah, but you see it COULD be a fake and based on MOST people's opinions, I would have a tough time selling the card to other people. So if the majority of collectors think it is fake, I can't take that kind of risk.

You just admitted you think its real. You also admitted you think you overpaid. Therefore you filed a bogus claim. I'm not sure it can get more dishonest than that. I don't see why the seller should have to pay for your mistake.

Do you have a link to auction of the card in question?

Wow. What a douchebag. You buy a card and X days later you decide you paid to much? And file a PayPal claim? Geez, share your eBay id so people can start blocking you. I hope PayPal takes more money from you for wasting their time.

It's the people like yourself that ruin eBay and are screwing the country up.

Are you 12? You write and act like it. Why would you admit you are scamming the seller?

If you check out the link to the auction that catfishhedberg provided you can see his rating is only 10. Can't see the actual ID name though. It's people like that that make it hard for sellers.Happened to me before.Buyer paid I sent card; they left me positive feedback then filed claim for refund with paypal.Bad thing paypal gave it to them.Screwed me;out the card and money.

Do you remember this?

Rogue Quotes:

"You people are crazy".
"Why do some/most of you purchase cards only to sell them the next day? Is it so your maildays appear beefier? Is it just to say, "Yeah, I owned that card at one point."
"I don't get it. Why don't people just stick to collecting who they want?"

If you put in a claim you are WRONG!!! Ask the seller to give you a refund and let him keep a % of the sale. Tell him you are young and dumb and should have never bought it. You might even tell him how you called him a thief on the BO forum

Nope, that's not true. I just don't want the card if most people think it is fake.

No need to call me names guys. I have no experience doing this and was just asking a simple question. I just started selling/trading cards a few months ago.

Just one comment of how much of a douchebag I am will suffice. No need to repeat each other's posts.

PS: I don't know if you realize it or not, you have told everyone here that you are not a honest buyer

I didn't realize I was being dishonest until these flood of responses, my friend.

I will be much more careful in the future.

And also would it be fair to say that I bought a case of cards from BO 1 1/2 months ago and the price has dipped down $225 from my original purchase, and now I think I'm gonna file a paypal claim against BO cuz I paid to much.
